** TOTORO **

O Totoro(The Big, Grey King of the Forest)
O Totoro is the biggest of the three totoros. He's jovial and speaks with a very low, bellowing voice. Mei meets him after following Chibi Totoro and Chu Totoro through the yard and into the woods. Satsuki meets O Totoro later, while waiting for her father at the bus stop in the rain. In the English version, Setsuki and Mei's father refers to him as the "King of the Forest."

Chu Totoro(The Middle-Sized, Blue One)
Chu totoro is the medium-size, blue totoro. When you first see him, he's carrying a bag of nuts with a hole in the bottom of it that leaves a trail when he walks and runs. Mei follows this trail through the thicket and then follows him to the hollow where O Totoro is sleeping. Satsuki doesn't meet Chu totoro until the night when they all help the seeds in the garden to grow.

Chibi Totoro(The Small, White One)
Chibi Totoro is the smallest of the three totoros. He is white and sometimes see-through. He is the first of the totoros that Mei sees in the yard. She follows him around, watching through the hole in a rotted-out bucket. When he disappears under the house, Mei stoicly waits for him to reappear. Satsuki doesn't meet the Chibi totoro until the moonlight dance in the garden.

Mei(Little Sister)
Mei is the rambunctious little sister of Setsuki - always wanting to tag along and quite a handful at times. She's full of energy and wonder and has great concern for her mother. She is the epitome of the innocence and magic of childhood. She's the first to meet the totoros.

Totoro!! always excited when i see them on the display. Love them and i actually have some of their collection. Is not easy to find them in Singapore, even if you find them, they cost much more expensive then Japan. Whenever i am in Japan tour leading, i will make sure i bring some totoro back or else my darling will heard me nagging non stop. Most time i will regret not buying them as i will keep thinking and talking about it. In fact is a childhood cartoon that inspire me to keep their toys. Totoro is also know as a lucky charm if you wear them with you. I have them on my key chains though (",)
