Daddy first swim wz Megan

Daddy have always wanted to bring Megan down for a dip in the pool and he finally did it today. The weather today was really humid and is good as the water wasn't too cold. Megan is so excited and in fact she dun even need to warm up... Daddy just put her straight into her float and off she is kicking and smiling happily...She is sure a sweetie and she makes all of us happy with her sunshine smile.

Potatoes Puree

First day of potatoes puree and Megan love it.. I bought white potatoes as i feel might be more tasty. She finishes quite fast compare to the pear puree.. Am happy she likes it, at least my effort didn't go to waste. All the puree so far look the same right.. hahaha!! will try carrot after potatoes then.

Megan New Bathe Seat

Bought a new bathe seat for Megan yesterday at Great World City as she is going to outgrown from her bathing tub soon. She is very excited but i think still trying to get use to bathing in this seats using shower head. But she is taking it well but just not very happy she cant dip into the tub of water and play... haha!! have to make sure she untiles it as is not cheap! cost daddy $79.90...

Pear Puree

Today i try Pear puree for Megan as i heard from my best friend that i shouldn't start grain so soon in case Megan have problem wz digestion.. After some thoughts, i find is quite true too so went NTUC today and get some pear to make into puree for her. From the pictures you think she likes it? " No" cos the pears i bought are those normal green pear and they tasted abit sour.. so every feed you will see Megan in " mi mi " face.. is funny. Couldn't get honey pear as i find honey pear are sweeter and nicer.. So poor Megan have to bear with that for another 3days... haha!!

Preparation of Pear Puree :~

1. Skinned the pear and steam for 10mins till is soft.

2. Blend them wz U-Like blender

Is that easy... likewise for others, you do the same too except for banana and avocado, you can just mashed them as they need not have to be cooked.

Megan next food

Heard from my neighbour this brand of brown rice is very nice and her baby loves it so much. I bought a pack and try Megan on tomorrow. Apparently mom had tried this brand before and she too find is very tasty too. Bought this from a bb store that sells all bb stuffs... 1kg for $4.50, i am sure if you can find this in supermarket, it might be cheaper as mom remembered she paid $3.80 for 1kg actually. Can't find this in Cold Storage but heard can get them @ Sheng Song and Prime... try it!

A Swim with Alphonsus Kor Kor

My neighbour Efon was on MC last week and Alphonsus was at home with her then. Suggested that we bring the babies for a dip downstairs and they enjoyed themselves. Initially Alphonsus was abit scare wz his new float that his mummy bought, and take a while to calm him down and let him get use to it. 10mins of warm up... he used the float and kick like a superman... haha!! Megan look more steady in her float as after all is her 3 dip in the pool using her " lao hong" mushroom float. Haha!! Suppose to let both of them swim together again but the weather wasn't too friendly and also 1 mummy hv " auntie reason " heehee!! Next week then :)

Avocado Puree

Today is the 2nd day i start Megan on Avocado puree. From the look of the pictures, you can tell she enjoyed it very much right? Hee! I had tried rice cereal for 4days and now trying avocado for 4days also. To start baby on semi-solid, we have to obey the 4days waiting rules. so that if babies develop allergies, you know what food caused it. Many ask why i started Megan on semi solid so soon.. in fact when i started Megan, she is already 22weeks old.. I want her to have a taste and learn how to swallow before i give her her full portion of food when she is 6months old. Overall the experience is fantastic and now when we put her on her high chair and puts her plastic bibs on, she know is puree time and get very excited. Yummy yummy!!

My Talkative " Ge Ge "

Every time when i call Megan "ge ge".. people around always thought i am calling her " girl girl" Hahaha!! "ge ge" in Chinese actually means Princess.. :) Above is a video of Megan doing her baby talks.. Check it out!

Changi Airport Terminal 3

Brought Mom and Megan to T3 this afternoon to pick up Angeline. She is finally back after 3 weeks of work/holidays from Austria/Switzerland. Before Angeline leave, she keep saying that she is worry Megan might not recognise her when she is back... and fair enough, Megan take a while to smile at her... haha!! Today was my first time in T3 and i don't find anything fantastic about T3. Just that is more spacious and less crowded than T2 and T1... I have yet to flies out from T3, maybe the experience inside the departure area will be better?? Shall see.. if i depart from T3 next time. Notice the romper that Megan wears? Is a gift from her " da jiu mu " as she just came back from Sydney. Is stated size 00 and that means 3-6months.. but think in another 1 month, Megan might not be able to fit in. So wasted as the romper is so nice and in fact the tortoises eyes can " glow " at night... cool isn't it. Megan god grandmother bought her a few cool dresses from Target Australia also and i really cant wait to see them. She will be back only in mid Oct... hope time passes by faster.. :)

Megan 1st dip in the POOL

I am so excited and happy today as i bought Megan to the pool this afternoon. Her first drip was successful and i am very proud of my little darling. She is so excited when we dressed her up in her bathing suit and smiling away. Before i put her in her float, i drip her feet in the water and let her get use to the temperature. Then after i sit her at the ledge before i put her in the float and it went on so well. She is really happen and giggling away.. can even look into the camera and smile so what you think? I will bring her for a swim more often now as she love it. Before i am still very worry about the water in the pool as it was so cold. Even for me, i dun really swim in there unless the weather are really humid.

About this Mushroom Float, i am pretty upset about it as the top of the mushroom cant really keep the air as i think the QC failed. To get a new want is such a waste of $$$.. Sighz i will make sure they pump in front of me next time if i really get another one.

Dinner @ Dempsy Road

David bought us to Dempsy Road ~ Chang Korean BBQ for dinner this evening. I misses Korean food and being wanting to eat them since Megan is born. Dint take any pictures of the food cos was too hungry.. heehee!! Megan had a great time there cos she was comfortably lying on the cushion as we are seated on tatami style dining, playing wz her toys and mumbling to her fists. She was screaming at her top of her voice when people start to talk to her... Aiyoh cant stand her! Looking at the pictures, you can tell how excited she is. She getting stringer now and we really have to hold on to her tight now as she loves to kick and jump while you are carrying her.. Scary! Overall the dinner was nice and mum enjoyed them too... Price is no the high side but the ambiance is good so no complaint :) BUT you will smell of BBQ when you leave the restaurant :P

2nd Motherhood Mommies/Babies Meetup

We had another Motherhood Mommies meet up today @ United Square and i really enjoyed myself today. Saw some familiar faces cos some of these mommies we met at the previous gathering. Is cool catching up with them again. I am happy Megan had a great time today as she is more sociable today. She even holds Baby Aldan & Rachel hands... so cute! Too bad i forgot my camera today if not i will sure snap a few shots of the priceless moments. Not forgetting her eh eh ar ar when I am talking to the mommies.. Talkative girl!! Haha!! Honestly i love these kind of gathering as we shares our baby developments and i love seeing all my friends in "real" as we usually only chat on forum knowing only each other nicks.. Now to see all in person is more easy to visualise. Today, there are more princesses than princes... and all look so girly and sweet. Elyn and baby Farelle came to join us too and Farelle look so girly today also as she is in PINK... Farelle mommy seldom dress her in PINK and she really look nice today :)


P/S : You dint see us in the group pictures as we left early. 2nd time we missed the group photo as have to rush home and pick daddy up from work. Will make sure i stay for the group photo next time.

Suppose to bring Megan to ECP for a walk but last minute daddy have some errands to run so end up just went Bedok Market for breakfast. Manage to snap a few shots before leaving the house. Megan seem very happy when we dress her up as she know we bring her out. But later show us gloomy face when i took so long to take pictures... hahaha!!

Megan " PINK " Walker

Daddy finally found Megan "PINK" Walker. Have being looking high and low for a pink walker as most Kiddy Palace in Singapore run out of pink walker.. They will have them in other colour like blue, yellow, green etc.. Daddy insist he want to get pink for Megan so no choice got to go around searching. Finally found this want @ Kaki Bukit and he is very pleased with it. Is a 2 way walker that can be converted to rocking chair. Megan love it so much :) ** Sorry for the toilet bowl that appear in the picture :p**

My new Top that Daddy bought

Daddy bought Megan a new top from Bedok Market while we having breakfast there last Sunday. Look really nice on Megan and guess what, it only cost S$5.00 and is from the brand Carters. I think all these cloths that they are selling cheap from those factories over run goods but they still look as good honestly. After all babies out grow so fast so i dun think is necessary to by them expensive outfit. At least i wont feel heart pain when she cant wear them :) Megan look happy in these picture right.. heehee!! She really have mood and is really hard to know what she wants.. sometimes she can be really happy and keep smiling, but sometimes she can be really cranky. Like last night, she is so cranky at Uncle Alan's food tasting dinner... start crying when people want to take to her... but when we are all talking.. she also want to join in the conversation with her " ar ar er er ger ger ba ba " Cant stand her!

Motherhood Mummies/Babies Gathering

Went for a gathering @ Vivo yesterday afternoon with Megan and Mom.. Had a good time with the mummies and babies. Is nice to meet up cos at least i know the "nick" in the forum belongs to which mummies face... Is just a pity i dint stay for long and take more pictures as need to rush to pick up David and also having food tasting @ Pan pacific that evening. All the babies are so adorable and i am happy to know there are in fact a few SAHM ( stay at home mum) like me. I am consider lucky as i still have mom wz me.. feel so paiseh. I see the way some mummies handler their babies, i feel bad as they did a much better job than me. Megan still not very friendly with people as she will still cry when sees unfamiliar faces... Hope she can bore smiley and not cry when people trying to talk to her... Megan... be a good girl please!

Megan new sleeping posture

Megan have being sleeping tummy down ever since she is 1month old. Just these few days, mom realised whenever she try to turn her tummy down, she start to fuss so much. So instead of tummy down, mom let her zzz sideways now with her "dada" and that works. As grow older, all her pattern start to change... But for me, i feel is good for her to zzz face up/side ways as she cant be sleeping tummy down for long also. Lets see what other changes she has from time to time now.
