"RA" of Megan

Megan loves to shower as i guess is a form of cooling down especially with the weather like now. Do mistaken about the bathing tub, this is not the actual want that we shower her... must be wondering why so small right :p ... this is just to cool her down in the evening, splashing some washing on her before we change her to a new set of cloths. Mum want her to smell nice before her daddy come back from work.. heehee!! She seem to enjoy herself in these picture as she almost fell asleep while having a shower.. such cute. Do you find her getting chubbier?? That means she taking my breast milk well isn't it.. i am so proud of myself. She is going for her jabs on 16June and i am really worry.. hope she is a brave girl then.

Megan's sleeping style

Megan have being sleeping tummy down for almost 2 weeks now. Many says is dangerous sleeping like that but we realise she feel more secure sleeping like that and she sleeps longer. Moreover now she can lift her head up and turn herself, we find is all right and we always keep a look out on her even at night. I bought a babysafe latex pillow for her and she seem to like it so much, guess is more cooling than sleeping on the nappy cloth. Bought 2 pillow case so i can change them daily, as i find anything that are contactable to the face are better to be clean. The POOH bear design case was chose by David, he have so many on hand and don't know which to chose but finally decide on this design.. Heehee!!

Megan's Passport Photo

Applying passport for Megan as we thinking of going for a short holiday at Bintan. Above are the 2 pictures taken by Aunty Elyn for her passport. Both look cute isn't it... but daddy prefer the 2nd picture as he finds the first picture look abit cartoon *Diao* I prefer the first actually cos look much beta like she is smiling... the other look abit grumpy :p

David had a travel voucher of 2k and we actually wanted to go for a short holiday to Bangkok or Taiwan. As Megan still young and i am still breastfeeding, so think might not be a good idea to travel that far now. So thinking maybe Bintan will be a nice short break for us. As going Bintan don't need that much $$ so we thought will be nice to invite the rest of my family. Too bad Alan and wife cant make it if not will be a really nice family outing. Is so hard to get all on holiday together isn't it.

Megan Jaundice level dropped..

Finally after 1 month, Megan jaundice dropped. Her reading was 176 on Monday and she don't have to take anymore blood test. Hooray!! And from the last blood test, is confirmed that Megan is having breast milk jaundice.

Mum quitting her job to help me out with Megan as being a fist time mother, not easy at all... Yesterday, she was so cranky that i don't even have time to brush my teeth, shower, eat breakfast etc. Luckily, my sister Angeline took MC and came over and help me out so i can at least catch up some sleep that i lost the night before. Megan enjoyed to be carry, guess we really spoilt her. But what to do, she is so precious to me and in fact mum too carry her all the time when she see her cry... heartache to see her cry :p

Since mum quitting her job, i am thinking maybe i should go work part time. Thinking of working alternate day so at least like that i can spend some time with Megan also. I know i will miss out alot if i am working but having 2 adults at home taking care of Megan also funny. Shall see how it goes as even if i want to work will be in July.

Megan's Full Month

Time flies, Megan celebrated her full month last Saturday when some neighbours and relatives. Dint manage to take picture of the party as all were too busy with the guests. Megan behaved herself then and she look like a little princess. Snap some picture before the party start and that is how she was dress, PINK!! Isn't she such a cutie? I love the hair band on her as is was so sweet, but only wear that for a while cos afraid might be too tight for her. Only thing i am not happy about is her over-sized socks.. :p cos her daddy bought all big sized.. haha!!

Do i look difference??

Megan look is constantly changing. I find each day she look difference. I just took a few picture of her and tell me what you think.. She is sure a cutie and i really love her alot. I hope she will love me equally much when she grow up. She have to go for another blood test again coming Monday but this time hey will run extra test, whether her jaundice is caused by breast milk or liver. I just hope she will be OK this time and don't have to go for any blood test anymore. By the way, Megan being drinking more milk since yesterday. She use to drink 40ml ~ 60ml ~ 80ml now can reach 90ml and even 100ml. That also means i have to milk myself like cow and hope i can produce more milk for her.. :p I have officially stop my confinement food as i am down with sore throat for 2days already. Mum nag but also dun have much choice and she cant control me :p When i was in my neighbour Misa's place this afternoon, i shared a can of COKE with Efon.. is heaven!!!


Mum bought a baby bangle for Megan and is so so cute. I guess not many have seen a bangle like this, so small and is pure gold.

Sleeping Beauty & Mummy Sweet Pea

Isn't she such a cutie? This picture was taken after she finishes her milk and her daddy trying to burp her.. instead of burping, she fall sound asleep :) Her uncle Ken like this picture alot and says she really look like princess in this picture. As days goes by, I find she look more and more like me.. but they are constantly changing so time will tell. Who even she look like, she is still my precious little darling. Time flies, this coming Saturday, she will be 1 month old. Will be throwing a small baby shower for her just to invited some of my relatives and neighbour. As my place here is very small so can't throw a big party here too. Will definitely do a big want when she turn 1 year old. Saw some really cute Strawberry Shortcake party ware and i really can't wait to get them for her.

Yesterday went Novena Square with David looking for Megan's stroller toy and find that the place is really full of kids stuffs. Kids enrichment school, retail stores, piano school etc.. guess will be a good place for family to hang out. With Megan, guess shopping will not be that long as with babies, so many things are unpredictable. As she is still on total breastfeed but i pump out the milk for her as i really can't tell if she is full or not when i latch her. She still cry after latching her for more than 30mins. So going out shopping might be a hassle as i might need to bring my breast pump along... maybe things will get beta when she is bigger as after all she is premature baby, latching and sucker enough will take a while.

Mum going back to work after this Sunday. Many ask if i can cope without her around. I guess i can and i tell myself i have to try as i cant have mum here all the time to help me out also. I believe will be tough but i am sure i can make it and i am sure taking care Megan full-time will make me lost some weight also.. and that is what i really want. Honestly, i have not really following the confinement rules as i still shower and wash my hair daily, go out with David to get stuffs for Megan etc. I stopped ginger after Megan Jaundice went up and that is 1 week after birth, and i don't touch alcohol unless is cook for more than 4hrs. For me most important is Megan as i want her jaundice to go away, rest is secondary. As i believe whatever intake by me will effect her also. Just keeping my finger cross that her jaundice level come down today as she just did her 4Th blood test ever since she is discharged.

Realise she is sleeping lesser since mid of last week. She just like to be carry if not will make those cranky noise. Mum says David spoilt her as he likes to carry her and make he comfortable putting her to his chest... He enjoyed the bonding... but when he goes to work.. who suffer?? US!! I know she is too adorable, so can't help it as when you see her cranky and cries, first reaction is to carry her :p No choice.. our little princess mah. As long as she sleeps well at night, that is more important.

My First Picture wz Princess Megan

Finally i have the courage to take picture with Megan.. You know why? Cos had my hair re bonded and now i look like a human. Hahaha!! No doubt i lost 12kg already but i still want to lost some more as my mission is to fit into my old jeans again. Have not try putting them on yet, might wait till after my massage session finishes. I will start my massage this coming Saturday. Time flies, Megan will be 1 month old next Saturday.. 10May. Her EDD suppose to be 11May and should be still in my tummy.. hee! She is changing everyday, look at this picture, this is taken by her "ah yi" my sister yesterday. Look difference?? She love to make funny noises to attract out attention. Guess her daddy give her too much attention when he is around and now she wants the same from me and her granny. Sigh!!! Her daddy always like to spoilt her... when he is around always carry her to his chest and she enjoyed so much and she can fall asleep in that way. But once you place her in her bed.. she start to cry and be carry again... sighzzz!!
